Why did they change the lineup ????? It's Mao from Sadie Ran from Poidol Hikarito from Aiolin I'll from Fest Vanqueur Kazami from DaizyStripper I was super hyped but now I'm meh about this.

You don't have to take every single comment about Kiryu personally. People are just understandably concerned cuz they just released an album not too long ago. Nothing personal, just a simple observation.

Because typically albums are released bi-annually or later to give the artist time to tour, promote, and namely rest at the end of each cycle. Announcing it this soon means it's been in the pipeline since before the last album dropped, which only leads me to believe they already have several other singles lined up for right after this one comes out. --- There's a difference between working hard and being worked to the bone. I get that they've been at the top of the indies scene for a few years now and that that has to be capitalized on before fans get bored, but at some point there will be burn out. I like their music, but I dislike the circumstances they're put through to produce it.

They are a popular band in a big label that makes a lot of money, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to risk losing their jobs just cuz they want to speak out.

I'm surprised no one brought up that this tv program confirmed the 6 year old rumors about Natsuki dating/marrying one of his fans. They seem to be happy. Good for them. Also listening to OZ for the first time since the last live and feeling nostalgic. OZ will always be one of my favorite bands.

he said in so many words that he wanted to do music only until age 22, and that he feels a behind-the-scenes job suits him more than one on stage. so he's not considering doing any more music activities. why would you let this dude in your band if he was already developing an exit plan, idgi

I found out that the song was already translated after I did about the half of the translation, so. Well, I tried to translate as close to the original text as I can, so there are some differences. Suggestions and corrections would be appreciated〜 Kanji: Romaji: English:

    MH JRock Awards 2018

🎁As an early gift to the community, MH will once again be hosting the MH JRock Awards for 2018!🎁 Now, before you start voting, read the rules provided in the spoiler below, or else Yuyo will ... idk yet but just read it anyways. Once you have read the general rules, here's how to vote: 1. Copy the list of categories below into your reply 2. Fill in your votes (you can skip as many categories as you'd like) 3. Submit. (Try to keep your votes organized under spoiler tags in order to save space for other voters) Your posts will stay hidden until the end of the voting. Here are your categories to choose from: Voting will last until Sunday, January 13th of the New Year (2019) This will allow everyone to take their time, since some of us are still waiting on some final releases to come out this month. Note: "Album" includes both full and mini-albums. For simplicity reasons, we follow the "Once Visual Kei, always Visual Kei" rule. So yes, that makes bands like Dir en grey or L'Arc~En~Ciel a Visual Kei band, just for the purpose of this voting. If you missed/skipped 2017 or are just joining the forum and have never heard of this, then take part this year! If you have any questions about the 2018 MH Jrock Awards, feel free to contact myself or any of the MH Staff! Happy Voting!

I am worried about bands like kiryu and mamireta burning out tbh this is just an absurd amount of output of music

The type B will not include the clip and the multi-angle clip of Senkou, only the multi-angle clip.

There's no point of restarting this band if the members aren't Daizystripper 🤔 This is just weird

    Frantic EMIRY restart activities

Wasn't this actually DaizyStripper's alter ego band? Why adding four members and keeping just one of the original ones? Seems like they re-record World End. I had hoped for new songs by the actual lineup and not new members and just a re-recording.

While its one of my favorite tracks from 2017, i didn't expect them to release a video for this since the main riff is nearly an exact copy of KoЯn's Rotting in Vain

Who would YOU want in a J-ROCK superband?

wanted to imagine a nagoya superband but realized that those who didn't retire switch with each other in almost all possible combinations anyway i wonder what sou and aie would sound like though. and yeah gara+aie combo was the best idea ever! how about an almost-nagoya-kei, art-kei-ish but not too much, and pretty dark band then vo: sou (emmurree) gu: uta (sukekiyo, ex-9goats black out) gu: iori (ex-cocklobin) ba: toshiya (dir en grey) or hati (ex-9gbo) dr: idk, anybody who wouldn't mess up the rhythm and i also need a band that would be gothic as hell but in a cute way vo: ♡kousei (ex-ghost) gu: kei (diaura) gu: ryuto (ex-clearveil) ba: futaba (ex-balalaika) dr: eve (ex-lycaon)

Who would YOU want in a J-ROCK superband?

Band 1: Vocals: Juri (DELUHI) Guitar: Leda (DELUHI)… guess I'm carrying on the trend Bass: Masashi (Versailles) Drums: Soan (Moran) Band 2: Vocals: Yo-ka (DIAURA) Guitar: Sizna (Moran) Bass: Hisaki (Cocklobin), he's underrated Drums: Sujk (DELUHI) Those bands aren't based on how compatible the members would be with each other in terms of musical talent. Rather, they're based on who I think is the most talented at their respective roles (so band 1 has the most talented and band 2 has the second-most talented). Personally, I think that'd make them pretty interesting to listen to. I also wonder what the bands would be called?

    First time traveling to Japan

Wow, that's cool! Kyoto is a really nice place to visit. There's a lot of interesting historical/cultural sights to see there. I'm not sure if there's any VK/Jrock stuff there, though ^^; Are you going to be traveling by train? No problem! Glad I could help out ^^ If you have a chance to go to Nagoya, you should definitely check out Sakae - it's the downtown area and pretty popular place to visit. (I believe the Like an Edison store is there, too.) For VK/Jrock things related, Shinsaibashi is definitely a must since Amerikamura is in the area. Lots of VK/Jrock-related shops in there. There are also some non-VK/Jrock related things to do there as well. Namba and Umeda also have lots of things to see. Here are some links that may be of help instead of me rambling xD http://americamura.jp/en/ (Home page of Amerikamura) https://www.osakastation.com/amerika-mura/ (It points out the Big Step - which is where Zeal Link is located in Osaka. There are also some cool shops that sell men's clothing which Jrockers wear and advertise sometimes - Civarize, Black Jury and things of the sort. There's also the BIG CAT live house at Big Step as well. If I remember correctly, PureSound is also close by Big Step. It's sort of squished in and small. You have to go up a set of stairs to reach it, but it's definitely there.) https://theculturetrip.com/asia/japan/articles/the-best-things-to-do-in-amerikamura/ (Talks some more about the general things to do in Amerikamura - like night clubs and the sort. The Angelic Pretty (Lolita fashion clothes) store is in the area as well as Mandarake [They sell used/old anime goods, movie posters, action figures, etc.]) https://theculturetrip.com/asia/japan/articles/the-top-10-things-to-do-and-see-in-shinsaibashi/ (Covers some things in the Shinsaibashi area. One thing they mention is the Shinsaibashi-suji - the shopping arcade/area. It's iconic and there are lots of neat shops inside. If you're interested, I believe there is a Lolita outfit/clothing store inside the long shopping arcade.) https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e4001.html (It talks about Shinsaibashi/Namba area. I believe the ClosetChild store is in the Namba area. Also, I deeply apologize, but I made a mistake in my previous post ^^; Like an Edison in Osaka is actually in the Namba area. Note: Shinsaibashi and Namba are very close by each other.) https://www.osakastation.com/dotonbori-area-the-bright-heart-of-osaka/ (It talks about the Dotonbori area. There's a Tsutaya CD shop there. They sell all kinds of music, but they do sell VK/Jrock CDs as well.) These are just some things I like to visit/see in Osaka (there are some other places to see, but I think writing it all down may be too long for this post XD) If you have any more questions, then just let me know and I'll be happy to answer the best I can
