Honestly, I think cons aren't particularly interested in bringing over VK bands. A big part of that is because I just don't think that there is an overwhelming interesting in VK in the con scene...not to say that the interest was every huge, but is absolutely has died off. I used to see more people doing VK cosplay, VK stuff being sold and booths at the dealers hall, and more people used to come to my Jrock panel at Acen. In terms of the con scene, I think Kpop has taken up the mindshare space that VK/Jrock used to have. Because of that, VK bands being booked for cons are fairly few and far between these days. The best thing you can do is reach out to the cons you are either planning or are interested in going to and let them know you are interested in seeing VK at their con. It mostly likely won't do much (I can speak from experience here), but the fact is that very few people actually reach out to cons and let them know what they would like to see, which in turn might make the con think the interest is there.

This is actually not something that is unknown of in VK, seeing how big kpop (and jpop) is in Japan at the moment it's a pretty good move (that is, if they actually did the music well). Back when oshare kei became a thing there was a lot of kotekote guys who all of a sudden took off their gothy dresses, black make-up and started wearing pastel colored t-shirts and bright haircolors. Some prime examples: Hisui (Madeth gray'll > Jelly Berry) Yayoi (Vice risk > Jewelry) Kei (Eliphas levi > Vinett) Anyway, my point is that it would be a good move (economic wise) for them... probably... if their music didn't suck.

Dunno about Koichi,but speaking about Tsuzuku, I doubt that he's doing this project wholeheartedly...I mean,I don't know nothing about his personal life,but just take a look at the mejibray stuff, all his painfull/nihilistic/melancholic/psychotic lyrics and etc...i can't believe that some artist can change so drastically so fast like he did. There must be something else involved to make he get away from his essence and what made him known for

That's awesome! Where are you going to be visiting while in Japan? If you're going to be in Tokyo, then there are a bunch of cool visual kei CD shops and clothing stores to check out. Osaka also has a nice handful of shops and places to go as well, although Osaka is a little more spread out in terms of the location of every shop. Here is a useful website for starters. It lists some shops, stores, PV filming locations, and other things to see related to VK/Jrock: http://www.vkeiguide.com/ (It looks up-to-date, but it's missing quite a lot of CD shops.) Harajuku (in Shibuya, Tokyo) has tons of VK clothing stores. Unfortunately, I can't remember where all of them are, but it all sits on one street (Takeshita Doori), so it won't be too hard to find. Many of the VK clothing shops in Harajuku are located in a huge department store, La Foret. (Here is the link: https://www.laforet.ne.jp/en/). But some kpop actually sounds cool, Tsuzuku no longer sings with any type of emotion. But meh more power to him and koichi for having fun doing whatever the fuck this is. It wouldn't be as bad if Tsu- i mean GENki actually sang instead of dryly playing with autotune like wtf,is he not trying to outshine koichi with his vocal talent?? If so its pointless because mejibray solidified their places in some of the most edgiest bangya hearts

wooow, it's been a while since i updated my art thread! earlier this week i did a presentation on my game idea and received some recognition so i'll be working on some cool stuff soon~ the current title for the game is "Her Name Is Dalila", which will be a classic survival horror game with a psychological story. here's what i've got so far. some concept art i did way back in june. this was where it all started. i took the concept art and made a platform game out of it in construct 2 for a class. this was a span of 5 weeks and i only got to design one level because doing all the artwork by hand took a while. the only thing i didn't draw were the bats and collectible gems. i'll be starting some floor and map designs so that i can start putting the game into a game engine soon. watch for updates! also, if you're interested in trying out the platform game i made just message me and i'll send you the html file. ^^

Album is available on Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, etc. *Listened to it in full. I'm gonna be honest and say, while it's not great, it's really no different than budget pop-electronic stuff. A resounding "meh". Their aesthetic is still ass, tho. Roll back on the weird furry avant garde shit, might be more palatable.
