I don't think this ヒカル is the same person as the toon-factory ひかる。There's no mention of it on his twitter, nor they both sound the same. Also Toon-Factory ひかる was in a session called アトリエ in 2013, while this アトリエ disbanded in 2010, when Toon-Factory was active.

Also the pressure these guys have by the japanese society/elders/family etc, I can imagine it must be tough and I can definitely see why a lot of people give up "early" (five years is not early for a vk band tbh). (I think that) unless these guys make it big very early on they usually quit because they realize it's not a viable career path. On the other hand you have guys like Yuuga and Kyouka who simply don't give a fuck. But not giving a fuck is harder in the japanese society than most western countries.

This announcement was very sudden, and losing someone like Yusuke over something as devastating as this is a huge blow to the band, and this man may have to deal with this for the rest of his life. I'm glad this thread help revive some interest for Laputa and his members they were definitely one of the greatest bands in visual kei history. On my side, I checked the vocalist's (Aki) recent works and it sounds very decent, so i ordered the latest album called "Revolve" , looking forward to it.
