Personally I play it down because my friends used to go missing in this capacity all the time and it was maybe 5-10% of the time that they were actually in trouble or caught by something out of their control... , I knew how worried to be because I knew them and their family and kinda how likely it is that they were just fucking off or if we might learn like the next day they were in jail or dead. We only know KULOE under a stage name, and announcements like this are made because it's impacting their ability to fulfill obligations as a band. As a visual kei band their family and personal lives are separated from their professional lives on stage and relationship with us as fans to begin with. I'm not saying don't be worried, but there's twitter-missing and then there's police-report-missing. (from my experience we are still at the stage where he could just be being an asshole lol). know that I say all that as an optimistic stance on his probable safety, I appreciate him and those looking for him.

Obsessed. I love that the second track has very reminiscent guitars to 空中都市 ～in the zalemu～ 歪屍形 is short(ish) song but it didn't need to be more, very catchy. I think this single sounds overally better than the last one! They are also farming alot of bonuses with their cd, depending on where you buy it. From what i saw already: comment disk, DVD and photosets so far.

Slated to host a show on 4/18 at Ikebukuro EDGE (w/ 万鬼隊 / type:『seeD』/ MIDGARD / 爆烈ストーム!! & others), DAYDALA announced on March 27th that they would render ticket #1 invalid due to reselling for profit. This is not altogether unheard of -- tickets that have been resold have been banned from entry, but it's usually for bigger bands. However, it seems the holder of #1 -- we'll call her S -- was a little confused by this choice. She tweeted that she had definitely been the original purchaser of the ticket through legitimate means, and eventually posted the DMs exchanged between her and the official DAYDALA account. She was even able to provide a receipt of the purchase (these receipts do not contain the ticket number), but they opted to offer her only a refund. When S pressed them to provide proof that #1 was in fact resold, they posted screenshots from tanuki (this is historical -- it is an open secret that bands and management browse the board, but an official account posting screenshots of 1) a selling post and 2) a tanumail conversation is unheard of). The listing originally posted on tanuki claims to have tickets #1-3. The chances of this poster being S are already fairly low as her receipt shows the price of one ticket. The odds of picking up #1 and #2-3 are stacked very high against her unless she juggles multiple SMS-verified accounts and somehow obtained #1 and #2-3, or is selling on behalf of a friend who was coincidentally able to purchase #2-3. More importantly though, the proof photo doesn't show #1 at all. Additionally, the source of the tanumail screenshot is also up for debate -- unless the band was trying to purchase the resold tickets themselves (something that has been done before, but generally by larger bands b/c I don't think DAYDALA could have afforded even the original 15,000y asking price), it seems they received it as a "tip" from someone else. This really opened the floodgates -- why weren't #2 and #3 banned as well if this was the source? Why was #1 banned despite being the only one without solid evidence? Their next step was to ban all of #1-3 but provide refunds upon further discussion with S. By this point tanuki was in an absolute frothing rage. People posting "for sale" posts for numbers 4-100 in a joking attempt to get them invalidated descended as DAYDALA thread after DAYDALA thread was created. Member Haku attempted various forms of damage control on his individual twitter, but the horde was angry and wanted justice for S. Finally, they rescinded their invalidation for all three tickets and gave a heartfelt apology. Masato of meta-kei/tanuki-kei/meme-kei band kaitou sentai lined up to take a shot at DAYDALA for their slip-up: "I was tired and sleeping forever. Good morning. I had a dream that the #1 ticket I worked so hard to get was suddenly rendered invalid. Hope it doesn't come true..."

@platyit's these multi-band events where one specific band is considered the host/organizer. the band whose event it is usually play last & gets the longest set so if your fav band isn't big enough for a oneman, these types of events are often a chance to turn up for them

@emmnyyou're barking up the right tree, it's just a convenient cover. i didn't want to get too far into the allegations/stuff that can't actually be proven in the main post. but w/ the initial non-banning of #2 and #3 despite those two having photo proof of being up for resale and the band being given tanumail screenshots, the prevailing theory is that DAYDALA tsunagari/shikiri (who may have actually been holding 2 & 3) was trying to push out/frame S. S isn't even a DAYDALA gya so perhaps they were worried they were going to have negotiation probs with her, or just pissed they couldn't wrestle #1 for their own band's shusai event and wanted to punish whoever did lmfao.

The episode was great, IMO. I don’t care if I spoiled it by seeing it early, I’ve had a god-awful terrible few months, so I’m good loll. The only complaint I have is the ending theme isn’t nearly as good as “Ride on Shooting Star”. Here’s hoping the ending theme for the “Progressive” sequel is more up to par. And it just hit me like a ton of bricks: I was there when FLCL first aired on Adult Swim (I just turned 8 then). Now when the sequels come out, I’ll be 23. Goddamn how time flies.

The setlists for Spooky box (more so Abyss) are gold and the performances at least based on the audio rips are golden. How has this not been discussed yet or has anyone not seen the stuff uploaded on YT or snagged any DLs?

As you may have noticed, the news section is more active than ever before since a certain character has departed, and more and more users are able to contribute their findings without any disruption or intimidation. With more contributors than ever, we each have our own writing style; some of us simply copy and paste band announcements and then translate them - whether by machine or on our own - to the best of our ability, and some of us take a more journalistic approach by adding more details rather than the standard news format of the past. To keep our status as one of the leading J-rock news sites/forums, we've decided to add in some rules and regulations to keep the forum in order and to help future contributors post without any issue: REQUIREMENTS: - intelligible English - As English is the default language of this forum, all topics and posts should be in English, excluding the International Lounge. Also, by posting and translating into English, it is possible for Monochrome Heaven to gain more exposure and recognition worldwide as an overseas news source to sites like JROCK NEWS and Shattered Tranquility as English is one of the most common languages in the world. With this in mind, think about how you'll make your post: make sure to proofread spelling, grammar, etc., so that it can be more coherent and understandable to the reader. - Translations to romaji are required mainly for band and release names, since most of our users are not proficient in Japanese (Google Translate is fine, but you are free to request/suggest alternate translations for the sake of accuracy, especially since song titles are a bit more challenging) As elaborated further down below, vkdb or Google can help decipher any names if you need to double-check. *If there's any issues with making translations using Google Translate, I suggest using RomajiDesu! This prevents any confusion, skimming through extra info, and especially unnecessary duplicate threads. - Please Please PLEASE use the report button if there's a double-post or issues in the thread. (the first thing I do when I get up in the morning is to check up the news and try to find some things that are out of order. Some days, I won't be around, nor will the rest of the staff, to do that as we do focus on our own lives too. Reporting a post is a much easier way of getting our attention rather than simply posting in the thread about the error, or even worse, unnecessary drama...) - Speaking of cooperation, this is NOT a competition. If someone else posts what you originally left out/posted seconds ago, or the reverse (some info is left out because they didn't see/understand it), don't make a big fuss (unless it's a double-post of course) ; after all, providing news is a team effort, so it's better to work together and to help each other out! ♥ - Please refrain from making any offtopic posts. This could clog up the thread with more unnecessary posts and less valuable information, especially when that escalates to drama. Any posts that have nothing to do with the aforementioned artist or release, etc., will be removed from the thread. Repeat offenses may warrant a warning for spam or misbehavior. - Make a new topic if necessary, especially if the band's previous thread hasn't been updated in a long period of time. In other words, don't necro long-dead topics, especially if you're only doing so to request an old release. That's what the Requests section is for btw. RECOMMENDATIONS: - Band/release names in kanji and romaji are recommended (makes it easier for hardcore/casual/non-Japanese speaking fans to search up their faves; may have to extend this to the download forum as well) If there's any problems trying to figure out a band/member's name, especially in romaji, google them or check out their webpage/social media/vkdb page, which can all be very helpful. - BEFORE posting, use the search function to check if anything has been posted yet. This can prevent double-posts of topics (such as accidentally making 2 threads about a band's new single), and confusion/competition between users. - When making a new topic, please don't copypaste the original Japanese text onto your post, as it looks out of place and completely lazy. At least make an effort to translate it into English so that everyone can understand it. (2019.3.19) - If you want to make any posts about an artist in general, please do so in their appropriate thread in the Artists section (or make one if necessary). This will prevent any clogging of release threads and saving some of us the trouble to going through page after page to find more relevant information about the actual release. - Put some effort in how you actually research and post news. If a band is disbanding at the beginning of 2018, and the actual date of their last live has been posted, please post that date instead of "so&so will disband in January/February 2018". Most news topics don't need a lot of digging, but for posts like these, it'll totally save up a lot of time and stress. **Also, not everyone can keep up with a certain band/release (and understandably so), so threads often tend to go dead even though new stuff is being announced via the official source. It's highly recommended that you follow a band's twitter or check their webpage ever so often for new updates so they well, won't be forgotten or fall off the face of the earth. xD - When embedding a video/tweet/social media post, make sure you also add some context even when the information is displayed in the embed itself, as bands tend to delete everything once they disband/disable social media sites, etc. If you link to a tweet for example, and it gets deleted, your post will be completely blank and worse off, valuable information/history could be easily lost over time (which makes some of us archivists have a hard time with band histories), or your post will be left completely blank. This is extremely important if you choose to start off a new topic with just an embedded post!! New threads that start off like this are considered low effort, which makes the rest of us have to do the hard work, so please put some effort into your post! - Don't go overboard on making your news look pretty or overexaggerated. We've had some issues with certain users putting in too much formatting on their text, posting too many Youtube/Twitter/etc. embeds all on one post, and it's tiresome to actually go through everything, especially when dealing with a slow internet connection or other factors. Extra formatting such as big text, abusing the bold italic formats, or puking rainbows is completely unnecessary and distracting when all we want to read is the news. If you want to proceed with posting lots of tweets/picspams/videos that are relevant to the topic, fine, but put all that shit under a spoiler.
