Something rather important I thought I’d let everyone know here. On the 1st, I’m getting an intense jaw surgery, so I’m not gonna be on for about a month. I may pop on every now and then, but uploads will be on an indefinite hiatus till around early March. I do have some more goodies lined up for around that time, and I plan on having a huge upload splurge when I come back. I’ll be on this weekend of the RH auction stream, and then the preparations begin =__=“. Just wanted to give a heads up and let everyone know since I don’t think I’ve ever been MIA that long on here before. So yeah, other than the RH stream, I’ll catch ya guys in March!!

It's funny how we change fav music genres from time to time. 3 years ago, I was totally into Kpop. Then, came back to VK, then, Prog Metal and now I'm back into VK. Does this happens with you too? You know you like the band, but you listen to it and you don't feel like "IT'S AWESOME, HOLY SH"?

finally managed to get phase faith's 'WILL' after a couple of years of wondering if it was ever released, together with their new single which i never knew existed either o.o; as well as: yoh's beautiful song he wrote for his bro's wedding, anfiel's re-recording of 'timeless' distributed at their 3rd anniv one-man on 1/21, and lux's dvd they gave out before their last live on 1/22.

They should pick up their punk roots again. Strip down all the ambiance, electronics, dramatic presentation and just give us 50 minutes of raw riffs and focused song writing. Dogma was so full of fluff, I think a deconstruction of their sound would do them some good.

I'm sure it's already old news for those that follow the scene, but SM put out a posthumous album for Jonghyun (Poet | Artist), available for digital download yesterday and available for physical purchase today. At first, the idea kind of put a bad taste in my mouth, but the profits are going to are going to his mother, "as well as 'the foundation for the establishment of an organization to help those who are living in difficult circumstances'". It's really good. Like, really fucking good. I'm not sure if it's on the same level as She Is for me, but they're very close. Take a Dive? Ooh. OOOH. I never could get into Kpop, as much as I tried (and tried hard) throughout the years, nothing really stuck with me. I had a huge DBSK/TVXQ phase, but that was about it. I love Zico's work, and I love K-indie, but Kpop is just a different beast that I can't seem to tackle. But Jonghyun was one of the greats, imo. There was a lot to him that stuck out to me, and I think it's very tragic that he's gone. He was very bright, very talented. Anyway, I'd really recommend you check it out if you've ever been into him, or even if you haven't. It's got a lot of good tracks that I can't boast about enough.

i don't understand how could the "fans" complain about DOGMA,compared to those three average albums after DIM DOGMA was absolutely outstanding . if you can't enjoy DOGMA,honestly i don't comprehend what you expect from the gazette

Kyo has been known to reference Asian mythology and frequently uses language in bizarre and creative ways. He doesn't need to be a "scholar" to do a ton of research of his own on subjects that interest him. Tbh, this may be as simple as using a word/concept that struck a chord with him and/or was in some way relevant to MACABRE. If Rasetsukoku is some kind of allusion to Russia, that song may be book-ending the album in some way (even though it's not the final track). Deity is sung (supposedly) in Russian, and the melody is taken from Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5. Seems straightforward enough to me. What this has to do with the rest of the album is anyone's guess.

Brazilian music. Roberto Carlos' latest release, a mini-album named after him (like 98% of his releases). Its packaging isn't common: it's just paper, identical of these of blank media. They say it's to save plastic (80% less), but it's just saddening. I bought it because of the duet he did with Jennifer Lopez, but the rest is good too.

I like the song, it's nicely different from most of the bands nowadays~ I'm really looking foward to what all this band has to offer
