I've actually been seeing/browsing this site for years but just joined XD I've been into VK for almost 10 years now and my favorite bands are Symphonic/"Tanbi" bands. (Versailles, Lareine, Chanton L'amour, Lacroix Despheres, VAMPIRE ROSE, La fleur de l'ange, Ambrosia -Neo Gothic Opera-, Anti-Alice, Merveille Magique, etc.) and also old school bands (Arege, As'REAL, En:nesia, Baiser, Gu:Laymu, M E L U S I N E, Radifia, Variable Messiah, etc.) errrrrr, don't know what else to say but.... hi XD

Just like the title says this is an attempt to bring back the m-h jrock awards for the year 2017 which last took place way back in 2012 and apparently ended do to lack of participation. Awards were given for best album, single, new band, etc. And all of this was decided by user votes. So I asked about reviving this and here's what @Zeussaid, Judging by all of the yearly best album/single reviews I would hope there's still some interest in something like this. So if you want to see the "Monochrome heaven J-Rock Awards 2017" then help me get this topic 50 likes and/or 50 comments by the end of the month.

Final Fantasy fanboys are one of the worst because they all think they know how things should be done, and they throw around claims like "people want this, not that" and "this game didn't have voice actors to begin with, so it should be left as such" and "people want a turn based rpg, not an action rpg". I can not call myself a Final Fantasy fan in a sense that I have a long, nostalgic history with it. I played VII remaster because I wanted to know what the hype was about and I did not hate the game, but I certainly, at that point, didn't think it was the bestestest gaem evah. It might've been, when it came out, I could give especially the CGI cutscenes some credit, as they were probably prettier than most of the other early 3D games. But like so many other PS1 games, it aged badly and not even the cutscenes are that impressive anymore, especially when you watch like full CGI movies like Kingsglaive being made. I also think turn based rpgs have their niche, but they are by no means a way to reach a wider audience anymore. There are probably a good number of such rpgs on the indie market, and if people want to play with that style, they should look out for them. However, Square Enix is too big of a company to be following some niche market for the HC gamers who only play turn-based rpgs and Soulsborne with no equipment and call it "the true experience". Same goes for the voice acting. Final Fantasy games have had voice acting for a good number of years now, so I don't see any reason for Squeenix to not have them in a remake. Basically these are the same people who are now complaining how broken and stupid FFXV is and versus XIII was going to be better despite no one actually knowing what versus XIII would've been like BECAUSE THE GAME NEVER GOT MADE. (Not to say that FFXV isn't a little bit borken but hey, Tabata was given a bad hand and he played it the best he could. There's no turning twos into aces.) I already know I'm going to cry at episode Ignis. I just told my husband today how episode Ignis is the only one of the episodes equally related to Noctis as it is to Ignis. Gladio had his own little adventure, Prompto was mostly searching for himself and trying to find out how he fit into this world, but Ignis's episode seems to be just about his loyalty to Noctis and how he's willing to sacrifice anything to save him. My inner IgNoct fangirl weeps. Ignis is bestgirl. Beats both Luna and Cindy. Kills monsters and cooks and fixes loose buttons. Perfect waifu. Damn it rambling again. Oh yeah forgot to talk about possible Ardyn DLC! Okay, Ardyn DLC would be neat, but damn I wish they made a FFXV-2 completely set in Solheim and how Ardyn became the anointed first king of Lucis only to be deemed unworthy after literally sacrificing everything of himself to the gods and the people. I WOULD PLAY AS ARDYN. I wanna play as Ardyn. I wanna follow Ardyn's story from his point of view. But I also know Tabata confirmed there won't be XV-2, because he wanted XV to be the full experience. But I hope he changes his mind.

Honestly, these guys didn't deserve all the losses that happened to them. They're incredibly strong for a Vkei band, still surviving even though most of their associated acts are now disbanding (Grieva, Sibilebashir, The Black Swan in particular). I've known them since they were Memento Mori (ironically right before they ended MM), and they have incredible synergy as a band. I don't know if any bands the members will go into if they do disband in the near future will have the same synergy. But I don't think we should worry too much quite yet... they still have some lives planned for 2018, so if they do end, it'll most likely be in 2018.

Okay so I'm going to try and re-cap what has happened lately. As you probably now, this is the schedule they've had up until now: 黒百合と影“さん”執念記念単独 「解体ツアー。」 2017年 11月10日(金)静岡Sunash 11月11日(土)名古屋MUSIC FARM 11月12日(日)大阪新神楽 ファイナル「“し”の告白。」 11月23日(木)池袋BlackHole Besides this they also have their bounenkai, shinnenkai, and a total of two event gigs (ambush attack with TBS and Visual Parade). Contrary to what Aimi is saying above, this is not a lot of gigs, as a matter of fact it is a surprisingly low amount for a two month span. Their Japanese fans are pissed off at them as of lately because: 1. The name of their latest tour (kaitai tour) kinda implies that they would announce a disbandment (the tour final is named Acknowledgment of Death)* 2. Despite this, the only thing that was announced during this gig was: - K switched name to Yohan - Kuro starting to use his old guitar again, the one he used in: 3. Rosshi was announced to be added to their official line-up several months ago at an instore event, yet that has not happened officially. To summarize it, they are mad at them because they are trolling their fans and making them attend shows where they imply that they are going to announce serious information about the band, yet does not do so. Also, regarding Kuro's instagram - he posted two pictures there after their tour final. One that said that he loves his bandmembers, their staff, making music etc, but he's been doing this for ten years and it is getting very tiresome. He later deleted it and posted a picture of sleeping meds (prescribed ones) and wrote that he's drinking them with alcohol (after a fan apparently advised him to do so instead of spurring bullshit). Some hours later his instagram was gone. * keep in mind, this is not the first time they're doing something like this. Remember their " " tour, where they said the secret meaning would be announced at the tour final? Nothing was announced there either. My personal opinion: I feel bad for their fans (myself included, how do they only release two songs in a year?), and I also feel that they probably have problems within the band that needs to be solved. Perhaps the best solution would be for Mei to start a band without Kuro and K, but I don't think that'll happen. Either way I'll support them until the very end.

I think this is the main reason why so many people don't want to have kids nowadays. The man doesn't earn enough to support the whole family, so the woman has to work, as well... and capitalism is just pushing people to work too hard, so they can't even take care of their family well. I also agree with you both about the overpopulation, all these issues are probably caused by this... the planet needs less people and not giving birth is one of the humane methods to make the population smaller, but the society is still influenced by the past, some people don't realize that and just continue their old ways of thinking.

My first custom build! It's got an Intel Core i7-7700 @ 3.60GHz, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD and 1TB HDD. So it's nothing super-duper-awesome but it's enough for me and I guess it's pretty good for the ~1200€ budget I had. And at least it's a lot better than the crappy gaming laptop that I had before. (Though I would've loved if I had found a case with purple leds and stuff instead of blue, pretty much everything in my apartment is purple so it would've been more aesthetic I guess... I really love purple okay)
