the dude literally only wrote two songs (and they were credited to both him and hazuki) because hazuki constantly rejected his compositions as they talked about a few times. hazuki had almost 100% of the creative control and still does minus the handful of songs written by yusuke. and the bass was not the problem with their particularly same-y albums, in fact, akinori introduced slap bass to their repertoire which they promptly lost when he left. i love hazuki but he is 100% the problem with lynch.'s music being stale because he IS the sound of lynch....

Kyo is definitely ripping of and failing at False chord which he stole from some western band along with those fry screams. Also on his Journey to be a Western Metal influence he copied their hair cut as well as fashion with the leather jackets and stuff. I would bring up marilyn manson but idk the timeline for his video's and Music VS Visual Kai's. but you get the point im trying to make with "plenty of minor details." Yo peeps. I wanted to talk about an issue that's very dear to my heart, and that's called planning a family, or a lack of it. Just like the title says. At my age, most women (and possibly also men) are, if not already totally at it, at least planning for their own family. You know. Husband, kids, golden retriever, stuff like that. Most women have silently agreed to have children, even if they don't particularly want them, just because society thinks they should. I stand at the other side of the whole concept: I don't want kids. Ever. I've been told ever since I was a tot that I'll change my mind and when I'm older I'll understand the need to have children. Bitch, I'm older now and still don't want any. In fact, I would gladly have my tubes tied into one hell of a knot to ever avoid even considering the idea that I might be with a child. The idea of pregnancy scares me. The idea of childbirth scares me. I don't like kids. I don't think babies are cute, not in the least. In fact, I believe children up to the age of 10 are, at best, a bore, and at worst, horrible spawns of satan I want nowhere near me. And yet, medical specialists argue I'm too young (nearing 30 here) to decide if I want kids or not, so they won't perform a sterilisation. Yo, people can decide on a sex correction surgery once they turn 18 but I'm not old enough to know I hate kids and don't want any. And I'm not saying this to mock anyone or say that transgender people shouldn't have the option to do that, but just that both are a part of body autonomy that I think one should have the right to rule over after a certain age. Are there other people who feel the same way as I do? Ladies and gents who just don't want kids, no matter what? Or people who want them but can't have them? Tell me your thoughts and give us some peer support.

Which was cool because ガラ had technical problems with his mic during the first Happy life. He also forgot the lyrics to MASS CONTROL ( at 奈良, he forgot エムオロギー). Adorable. And MERRY’s fan base is friendly as fuck! Holy shit, those girls are amazing. now, I’m off to Tokyo to catch them again with BAROQUE (yeahhh!!)

Duuude, chill. Everything anyone says is subjective, especially when it comes to music, ok? Sure, you can use your musical education if you have one, or you can write me a huge list with what you deem as proof. Does it change anything? No. I am not a DEG fan, nor am I a fan of Mao. I'm just a dude listening to music. Yes, I find Mao emulating DEG. Yes, DEG emulated other bands, and it's confirmed, too. Everyone is ripping off everyone else. But let's see what we have here: DEG changed drastically over the cource of 20 years - looks, music. influences. They constantly changed. Their inspirations changed. One day they copied Kuroyume, next day they copied Korn, third day they copied Architects (name any other band). So yes, they grew, took everything from all of the inspirations that they ever had, and tried to do something somewhat original that sells. Now let's look at Mao. I am no musical expert, but when I first heard them in 2007, to me he already tried to emulate Kyo, which is fine. In 2009 - still the same thing, it's justthat he tried to emulate Kyo from their different era. 2011, 2013, 2015 - maaaan, just stop it already, we know that your respect/suck up to Kyo, find some other major inspirations, ok? And now he has a different project in 2017, and it's still the same thing. I hope you see what I am trying to say here.

I've never wanted to have children, the magical "changing my mind when I'm older" didn't happen. Soon I'll be 30 and still don't want any, I don't even have any desire to be in a romantic relationship, I wish I could just share an apartment with single and childless friends (ideally, nerds and rock music fans ;p) until I die, lol. The whole idea of having to have sex with someone in order to live a normalized, adult life and sharing things together is repulsive to me, as well. I'm not sure if I want to have it, looking at stuff online is ok, but I've never slept with any man and with women it was a bit blah. So, definitely no pregnancy. It grosses me out, as well. It's nothing cute or the reason to be happy, I don't get the whole thing about it. Children are like little aliens to me, I'm the youngest in my family and I've never been around these spawns of Satan for a longer time, I have no instruction manual for them, I can't afford having them, when I'm around one I can be nice and polite, but I would rather prefer my peace. Unfortunately, other people rarely want to accept my opinion and decisions, unless they're around the same age or younger. I still hear things like "you'll change your mind" or "when you're old there will be no one to offer you a glass of water", and my own mother's favorite son is of course the one, who produced a little human pet for her to play with. The other two children didn't give her what she wanted, so they're worth less... :/ I don't discriminate people, who want to have children, they should have them... but in my culture I'm probably seen as an broken human being, because the family values are strong. I'm feeling lost and I don't know how I'll live my life later, I don't want to be alone with everything and misunderstood by everyone... because the older I am the less childless people with fun personalities and interests are around, so many people turn into boring adults with families, it really scares me.

The best joke would be if this is actually the gag look and the next one has him back on the tricycle with the pacifier in his mouth.

This TV show sounds interesting I hope will have subs for understand more some parts, I'm not really surprised at Kiryuin Sho knowledge of this subject. When they talked about the 10's I'm ok with them about the trio Nightmare/SiD/The GazettE , I can understand why they add An Cafe on theirs list but the the presence of SuG leaves me perplexed even if they did op/ed anime they never had the same boom and popularity like An Cafe had or Nightmare/SiD/The GazettE

NIGHTMARE- To be or not to be: That is the question tour final 2014 at Tokyo International Forum hall A Limited Edition DVD+CD Vib Ribbon - PlayStation 1(Largely music based game and I believe you can play the soundtrack so it's music related I guess) Merveilles - Malice Mizer. I like 'Au Revoir' so I thought I'd invest xD

BUCK-TICK is the only band I've enjoyed their entire career's discography. Sometimes what they release as of late doesn't appeal to me right away, but I usually go back to it later and like it a lot. They still goin', goin'. I was really pleasantly surprised with Plastic Tree's last single. I wouldn't say they ever lost their spark, because honestly I really don't like some of their earlier work or some of their most popular songs.. aha. But I love them as a whole.

I agree with Metronome! Dare I say their newer stuff has rivaled or even outdone some of their older stuff. Still wish I'd been able to see them with PLC. As for PLC, I agree they've had a few not-so-great songs post-reunion (but they've always had random filler-ish stuff in their past albums so I guess that's par for the course), but what's wrong with "Mirai Shounen x Mirai Shoujo"? The lyrics are cute and the MV is about a queer/trans couple where the trans girl (played by trans personality Haruna Ai) finally gets her sex change operation at the end. It makes light of the "hospital/major illness" drama trope, is cute, and overall pretty progressive for not only starring but showing trans people in a positive light. Other VK bands I don't think have lost their "spark": - D'ERLANGER - Their last album was great and they rocked live. Looking forward to whatever they come out with next. - BUCK-TICK- Some people might disagree, but I've enjoyed them expanding into different genres over the years. While I don't always enjoy their new music as much as their older music, I've never hated an album they've put out. - LUNA SEA - They've given some great performances, even rivaling some of their older ones, since they got back together and I feel like "Will" was one of the better post-reunion albums by a VK band to straddle the hard line of old sound vs. new. - sukekiyo - I see so much potential in this. I don't think they've had a bad release yet. - lynch. - Every time I see them live they're been better than before. My live impression of them over the years has gone from "every song sounds the same" to " I would actually consider buying a CD of theirs/keeping up with them more". I think musically/technically they have room for improvement but I see them sticking around and only getting better. - Considering how I never really was a Nightmare fan, I'm surprised at how much I've been liking Jakigan Meister and Gremlins. - Visually Zombi/Zombie doesn't do much for me, but I've enjoyed a lot of their releases so far, and think they have potential.

First of all: second "vk sucks nowadays"-topic of the year? You already have one from earlier this year. Anyway, try out other bands as well, there's tons of great bands in the scene. It's pretty common that bands who keep going for 10-20 years don't put out the same quality as they did when they were younger, even outside of VK.

gotta give props to that vocalist guy for at least being consistent - copying Kyo for 12 years straight is no joke! also this is such a mess that even their promo video has wrong info:

Deadman, PIERROT, Laputa, Malice Mizer, The ROMEO... Especially The ROMEO because their lives were really fun and I haven't found a lot of people doing their style of music. SiXX is kind of like the softer incarnation of them, but not quite the same.

Not entirely sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I'm pretty sure it is: I really like cali≠gari's 11, maybe more than 12. I still haven't heard 10, but I don't think I'll like it as much as 11.

Well, Rozz Williams (Christian Death) kinda did something similar back in the 80s/early 90s But this might just be a coincidence. Rozz had some sort of influence on VK though. I think there was an interview of Baiser's Yukari where he stated that he was very much into Alien Sex Fiend and Christian Death and some of VKs root sound and looks can be traced back to deathrock music and fashion. But Kiyoharu, Kon and Co. might have also come up with that stuff all by themselves.

I really miss A「エース」Anonymous Confederate Ensemble, I think they had a lot of potential and they were so special in the vk scene.
