真天地開闢集団-ジグザグ will release their new CD "糞麺氏ね" on the 25th of August, NOT LIVE-LIMITED. They'll hold their "愚かな者に救いの〜夏期講習〜" titled one-man on the same date at Osaka Muse and another one on the 8th of September at Americamura Clapper.

Actually it was their fifth oneman but third "official" oneman. They had an "extra" oneman for Zyean and Ricko's birthday in January and another in April for Boogie's birthday, and next month they're having another for Sena's birthday, so the "fourth" one-man will actually be their seventh. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to this. Tonight was fucking lit.

Holy hell, I just saw them live and the hype is nonsensically high. It was funny because they came on right after Xaa Xaa and the resemblance (in aesthetics mostly) was almost confusing. People went craycray for them, a large portion of the crowd even called it a night after their performance and didn't bother staying for the last band on the bill (I thought Razor would be a lot more popular than that, considering the lineup?).

As an "old" VK fan that normally doesn't like oshare-kei (and survived that horrible phase of VK), Jack Caper sounds pretty good from that vid. I actually disagree that the vocalist is annoying compared to most oshare kei vocalists. I would sit through their show at a taiban. I think Zig Zag's concept is pretty cool and they sound fine, but musically are not my cup of tea. The rest... uhhhh no comment. But I appreciate you compiling this to keep us in the loop of what's going on in indies VK.

Sometimes I feel like minorities are causing their own racism/exclusion. Remind me to not bingewatch RuPaul's Drag Race anymore. Feelin' mah face muscles pulled into a painful cringe every time one of the minorities WITHIN a minority excludes themselves on purpose.

Oh man, when I saw Manson in 2007, I definitely did not think I got my money's worth (the trip to and from Bucharest and a festival ticket for his performance only). It seemed like he didn't even try and would have preferred being anywhere else but there. Word got out afterwards that he was actually pissed because the organizers wouldn't get him any drugs. I'm not sure if showing his ass was his way of making it up to us, but that happened, wasn't expecting he'd "grace" us with such classic stage antics, but that too felt jarring amidst such a lackluster performance. No one realized the last song was the last song because he just left. No oomph at the end or anything, he was gone before we even realized it, but it's just a funny memory now. Sounds like you had a much better experience so now I'll definitely go see him again if I get the chance.

Do you mean me lmfao. They've been doing quite well recently, not just in Kansai but Kanto as well, especially in the past 2 or 3 months. In April they started going down into the crowd and stamping people with hanko during kimi, izon, tattoo and it's become a huge hit even among bangya who aren't fans of the band. There's always a big rush of people who run in just for it. Btw, the second song they're playing in the video @Mihiposted is ちゅーしたい which will be on the new release coming out next month. If there's enough interest I may consider doing a shopping service for it as well as the 500 yen 入門盤 CD and cheki. Also I completely forgot I posted here a few months ago saying I'd share live reports and dumb stories so I'll do that within the next couple of days.
