Well, that certainly went well. Had a great time last night, and ended up spending the night to my big surprise. Didn't plan on that. Started with playing cards (I won and got cheeky as fuck, because I am an incredibly sore winner), baked buns which turned out delicious, watched some sex-show and American Pie with her friend on TV and shit. I had a great time, and I could tellshe did too, as well as her friend. Sure couldn't resist my charm. Anyway, whatever happens next it was still worth it. Had a great evening/night.

I understand where you're coming from. Technically, it would make sense to make two separate threads for each respective forum. However, this is one of those cases where the thread's content can go either way - meaning it's unsure whether people will reply with Japanese or non-Japanese music and in what quantity. Of course, we could specify the kind of music we'd like to see in replies by simply splitting the threads in different forums, but given the ambiguous/open-ended nature of the replies, doing that could get messy and redundant really quickly. So it's most convenient to have everything in one thread. As a rule of thumb, if you have a thread that pertains to both Japanese and non-Japanese music, posting it here (under Japanese Rock > General), is usually the better place, as this forum is the more utilized of the two. Lastly, it's a bit unfair to compare this thread to Recommended Tracks, as that thread takes a rather obscene amount of work and is put together by a team each month. A normal discussion thread doesn't necessarily need to be as elaborate (though of course that's up to the OP's discretion XD)

Reading through these responses is kind of depressing. It seems we've all had bad reactions when introducing other people to VK. I've gotten so tired of standing there while people insult what I love just because they can't or won't understand it, that I just don't talk about it with other people anymore. If anyone asks what I listen to, I just tell them symphonic metal or symphonic rock, since that's the area of VK I listen to the most. Frankly, it's not really their business what I listen to anyway.

1) ギャロ (THE GALLO) - LUCIFERO THE GALLO is one of my favorites Visual band actually. I fell in love with them in 2014. "DIAVOLO" was amazing. I was a bit afraid because this new album came just 8 months after the last. I still prefer "DIAVOLO" but "LUCIFERO" is really good too. They have a unique sound and that is what I love. 2) Animals as Leaders — The Madness Of Many Because these musicians are too good to be real, especially the main guitarist, Tobin Abasi. Animal as Leaders is sick. 3) Owel — Dear Me Just discovered them this month and I think they are really amazing. "Dear Me" is a gentle alternative pop/rock album. It's well composed and the double vocal (man and woman), violin, piano etc, give a really good atmosphere to their songs. 4) Enter Shikari — Live at Alexandra Palace One word : Genius 5) Insanity Injection - Psychotic Cabaret I didn't really like their first single but their first mini-album is really good. A good surprise. Surely, they have potential with Makoto, Kyouka and Hideaki. "Re:incarnation" is epic. I hope they will continue. I don't really want to follow them hardly because we all know Kyouka's past...but now, they are a good Visual band.

I'll totally reply to this thread proper at a later date when I have my computer at hand, so I feel like I can say that if these threads get separated then they are downright doomed to become ghost towns, both of 'm. It's not like they've been hopping attractions before, and we've had this format for as long as bear has made these. I like 'm as they are now.

I was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) at 18 months old. CMT is a degenerative neuromuscular dirorder that effects the myelin sheath around the nerves. Motor signals don't get sent as well to the muscles, it bt becomes harder to use them, and eventually you forget what it was ever like to use them. CMT gets progressively worse and starts at the fingers and toes and works its way up over the years. I still have some function in my shoulders, hips, neck, and torso, but I can't use any muscles in my legs or arms. Things my specific type of CMT affects (We think it's all related) My vocal chords are partially paralyzed, so my voice sounds like the bastard lovechild of Gollum and Darth Vader. My eyeballs are broke. My vision without glasses is about 20/300 without glasses, 20/100 with. I'm legally blind. My diaphragm is slightly weaken, so I can't breathe in or out as strongly and pretty bad stress, anxiety, and depression from all this and knowing it's going to get worse. The cool ways I adapt and cope I use the tip of my nose to use phones/tablets/anything with a touchscreen. It works really well (especially since I have to be that close to see the screen anyways), and I use a toothbrush in my mouth to type on a regular computer. Playing video games is fun, and I play Overwatch a lot with @Zeus I sit on the floor in front of the monitor, use a mouse on the floor on my right (moving and clicking buttons with my palm), an xbox controller on the floor in front of me (using the left joystick to move/click in for an ability), and the toothbrush keyboard method to type/hit keys for abilities etc. I try to deal with all the anxiety and depression by throwing myself into working on RarezHut. I know I must seem to a lot of people that I only use MH to mostly promote RarezHut, but constantly working is how I stat (mostly) sane. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for @Biopanda though. He works as my caregiver, co-owner of RarezHut, and my best friend in the world. We've been roommates and he's been helping me since 2008, and I'm surprised we haven't killed eachother yet since we see eachother every day all day. Every day he helps me get dressed, eat meals, take a shower, even as simple as grabbing something from across the room. Panda has been there at my darkest moments when the weight of everything and the knowledge that there is no light at the end of the tunnel causes me to just collapse into a quivering mess of tears.

Eu compro no CD Japan mesmo e as vezes no yesasia. Tinha um amigo estudando no Japao e usava ele como escravo de VK, foi um ano lindo pra minha colecao de CDs mas infelizmente ele nao mora mais la. Queria comprar um cartao do iTunes JP pra poder acessar a loja japonesa do iTunes. Eu sei que vendem esses cartoes no jbox.com mas ainda nao tive a chance de comprar um e ver se da certo mesmo. Adoro colecionar CDs mas eh um saco quando tenho que mudar de casa e ficar carregando eles por ai :C

Mostly just because I didn't feel it reflected the majority of the active userbase's taste.. Anyway, most of the things I've heard that Sou and Zull have been involved in (well, maybe except for The Candy Spooky Theater) have been quite stellar. I dont actually know who's responsible for composing most of Silence's material, but I sure as hell do enjoy the atmosphere they manage to create w/ their music. Also agree w/ the statement that they appear to have ''sacrificed'' some of the more dense/abstract elements of their style for a somewhat more accessible sound, but the end result's still good. Not ''Tokage's personal top 10 of the year'' good, but undeniably stellar nevertheless.

Yeah, all those kagome kagome stuff refer to a Japanese children's game. Here's a song by ClearVeil that uses parts of the chant as well. And I think Alice Nine used the chant in one of their songs too. Or maybe that was Ayabie, I don't remember.
