About This Club

Monochrome Heaven Girugamesh club

  1. What's new in this club
  2. Probably old news but Satoshi viewed Daisuke (from Kagerou) as a mentor, but you really can hear the similarities in their style in older Girugamesh releases. http://www.jame-world.com/uk/articles-65758-kowai-ima-wo-kurai-ima-wo-kuroi-ima-wo-koero-.html "Despite the onstage image of someone unsteady and overflowing with strong emotions, he was a person who could very easily win over other people and fans. He remained friends with MUCC's Tatsuro, MERRY's Garaand Girugamesh's Satoshi, who viewed him as his mentor. " Parallels with Daisuke & Kyo coaching Satsuki from RES http://www.jame-world.com/uk/articles-5922-rentrer-en-soi-the-bottom-of-chaos.html or Kyo being cited as a "Music Consultant" in Kagerou and The studs releases: https://www.discogs.com/蜉蝣-落首/release/4017352 https://www.discogs.com/The-studs-Studs/release/2363545
  3. I would believe if you told me that was Satoshi. They looked so alike.
  4. girugamesh's earliest known band pic, before Satoshi when "Cyrien" was on vocals aka "Tora" in "Sel'm" and later "Sena" in "STEREO.C.K". This picture comes from a 2003 checki backstge at an unknown concert probably a live house when "Shuu" was a "Kagerou" roadie he once discussed in an interview. This is presumably the earliest incarnation of "ギルガメッシュ (girugamesh)".
  5. First song in my head will always be, because of its sheer magnificence:
  6. Song that got me into their music, could never forget this song
  7. I know Clubs are dead but I would hope that this song is currently the only song on any giru fans mind. @nostalgia For your listening pleasure:
  8. Here's info. on one of if not the oldest girugamesh live, perhaps even they're first official live: http://emily-net.no-ip.info/ark/livehouse/gio.htm 2003.12.18 And again on 2003.12.31
  9. Was gravitation really the first one type album ever? Or did you mean the band's first ever?
  10. A re-recording of that entire album needed to happen. Such great songs.
  11. This jumped into my head the other day as I was walking home and it was so perfect I had to throw in on for old times sake. As an album I don't think 13s reborn's production aged well but this song is still bad ass as fuck . If they ever did a proper re-recording album this should be on it.
  12. I've seen them play evolution live, and it was beyond epic. Only a small club, but so much energy! Also, I never quite realised how popular the song was among other fans. I always kind of thought it was just a favourite of mine....silly me! Oh, and the first song that comes to mind is Robust Conviction. I don't know why. Loved the song.
  13. I'm sad I never got to see them play it, it must have been crazy energy.
  14. evolution was like the band's anthem. They must've played it every show.
  15. Let's take it back. ;D (this song is already 10 years old I'm cry)
  16. Owari to mirai (my favourite one from them!)
  17. I guess the self titled is just one of their most memorable releases?
  18. Three songs from their self-titled...am I noticing a trend?
  19. this is gold! thanks, nostalgia!
